Service before last i was told I needed a shock absorber at a cost of £500.00On my last visit nothing was said about shock absorber but this time I was told I had a puncture and they could fit a new tyre for £220
Everything done as required and the car was ready when promised.
Easy no hassle
Smooth efficient service experience. Particularly liked the video emailed to me showing a fault that had been found. A part was ordered which arrived overnight and fitted first thing the next morning - great service.
Delays with vehicle collection
The after sales and service team with mark especially were fantastic
BMW recalled my car. I work full time and am busy. I have to wait over 3 weeks for a loan car and then am fleeced I to paying £15 to bring excess down feom £1000! BMW recalled MY car so why should I being paying to reduce Insurance excess?

After booking my first service, I had to wait nearly 3weeks for a collection. When this was booked, l needed the car back by 5pm as l had an appointment. This was arranged. On the day of the service l was told this could not be guaranteed.
Civilised reception by staff in a business setting. All my requirements attended to promptly.

I only had an MOT done, but they did a good job off washing and vacuuming the car afterwards, which I appreciate.
Bad customer service experience. Rude receptionists , staff on the phone also condescending and rude. I was reluctant to take my new car in to the Colchester branch as previously had a very bad experience with them. But I didn't have a choice.

I had a 10 inch crack in my windscreen and was told my Cooper Colchester that the first appointment they could given me was in 2 weeks! The car was not drivable. I eventually called BMW Emergency Service ad resolved it via that channel.

I can find no fault with the service I received.
Not completely reassured that the A/C fault was repaired. Unfamiliar noise which continuously switches on and off remains. Will continue to assess possible fault and contact Cooper if I remain doubtful.
Straightforward MOT appt. booked for 8am I waited for same to be done in the customer lounge and MOT was completed within the time scale.
Service reception staff are v good.On collecting the car I wasn't happy to see greasy marks on the cream interior; passenger door & driver footwell. I know they weren't there beforehand as I'd just cleaned the car myself. Something similar before.

Car went in for Brake disc/pad replacement and multi point check. This was carried out perfectly and I was very happy. I did ask for a bad rattle to be looked at that is coming from underneath and a clunking noise but nothing found - frustrating!
On this occasion it was fine because nothing needed replacing / repairing . They don't seem to carry any spares in stock which usually means a return appointment is needed

My wife was in a panic and they looked after her

Did not diagnose/resolve unusual whine. Damaged driver floor mat. Did not reset service indicator.
Efficient courteous service.
Parts not available on scheduled date and car had to be colected, repaired and returned the next day. All handled well, with compensation, but did cause us some inconvenience - otherwise satisfaction score would be higher.
Rattle around glovebox reported but technician reportedno rattle, rattle still there first time I drove the car again
The paperwork was not returned with the car .It came by post three days later.

Pretty much perfect although long wait for courtesy car when booking
I had to wait 2hr 30 mins for my winter wheels to be changed to my summers. When the car was finally ready, the tyres were not pumped up correctly, visibly flat.
Dealt with the issue and were very helpful. Could have been a bit quicker and had the same make of tyre in stock.
Had to wait a few weeks as Branch is so busy

Cooper Colchester, in comparison to Cooper Ipswich, were exemplary and rescued the potential purchase of a BMW from being lost. When comparing the 2 it was like chalk and cheese.
