I have returned my car twice recently for recalls. On both occasions, while the necessary work was carried out, my service report has put this intervention below other observations. Is a recall less important than work that generates income?
Firstly quoted wrong price, then felt service on car was below standard and then lack of communication when I complained
I was reminded by post that vehicle check was offered before warranty expired. This was carried out as intended together with some service work and the MOT, and I was called when the work was done.
First visit the repair wasn't up to standardSecond visit repair well done, but over ran slightly
They did what what they said they would do - they kept me up to speed with progress and they were efficient. (if not a little expensive!)

only gripe, they said they was going to valet the car, I collected the car they had hoovered everything but not the boot, I Said to the service department about it and they said they dont do it, seems silly as its only a extra 1min for full job
Service done on time and explained the work.
Excellent service from front reception and service department.
The service was fair and reasonable, no complaints. I went in for a 'while you wait' service, and would have been "completely satisfied" had they kept me informed on the progress but had to approach them for updates after completion time.
There is only one minus it can be difficult to organise an automatic courtesy car.
Car ready at the estimated time. Any further servicing required explained and arranged.

There was a mistake with who ever booked my car in. I turned up and was told it had not been booked in. Saying this the guy shuffled a few things around and my car got serviced but a little later than expected as we got there first thing.

Dan the service manager offered incredible customer service as he even went as far as arranging collection as I was stuck at an airport and would miss the service appt - a real pleasure to deal with!

There was an issue in that my car was in to have the summer wheels and tyres changed over to my winter set. I had booked to wait whilst the work was carried out, but sue to a problem my car was kept in for 2 days.
When I called to collect the car the service assistant was disorganised and disinterested and I had to wait despite having arranged a time to pick up the car.

Everybody there is nice and customer focused and nothing is to much for them to make you feel welcome. You even get decent coffee
I brought my car in the previous Saturday for a pre mot tyre check and was told it would be inspected in a ramp... it was inspected in the car park I was told itll pass on tyres only to find it failed on a rear tyre inner wall being worn
The Service Receptionist was very organised and the work completed on time. Parking at this site is a problem and available service slots limited.

Awesome. Bit of a shock at the £260 1st service charge though. When in bought the car it had been promised a £77 one.
All the staff I dealt with were very helpful.
Welcome, attention to detail, speed of service, and even the coffee all excellent. Just disappointing that no wifi available for customers waiting for service.
The oil top up was effected quickly

Fault with brake fluid appeared on car diagnostic screen day after service (apparently engineers forgot to reset service log on the system)

We only needed an interim/first service for our X5 after 2yrs and only 10,000 miles, which I though was completely covered by a pre-paid 5 yr service pack.My wife was faced by an on the spot decision by a mechanic to pay £52 to top up the AdBlue!
Service before last i was told I needed a shock absorber at a cost of £500.00On my last visit nothing was said about shock absorber but this time I was told I had a puncture and they could fit a new tyre for £220
Smooth efficient service experience. Particularly liked the video emailed to me showing a fault that had been found. A part was ordered which arrived overnight and fitted first thing the next morning - great service.

Delays with vehicle collection
The after sales and service team with mark especially were fantastic
BMW recalled my car. I work full time and am busy. I have to wait over 3 weeks for a loan car and then am fleeced I to paying £15 to bring excess down feom £1000! BMW recalled MY car so why should I being paying to reduce Insurance excess?

After booking my first service, I had to wait nearly 3weeks for a collection. When this was booked, l needed the car back by 5pm as l had an appointment. This was arranged. On the day of the service l was told this could not be guaranteed.
Civilised reception by staff in a business setting. All my requirements attended to promptly.

The only minus point is that you are no longer able to provide a 7 day free insurance policy. Given my timescales, changing my insurance and getting the necessary paperwork to you in under a week was quite a fraught experience.
